At the primary inspections vermin were found in 32 and nits
alone in 594 children. On these inspections 1.2 per cent. of
the children showed evidence of infestation as against 1.0 in
1958.
18 children attended the Cleansing Station for treatment for
verminous conditions and 11 for scabies.
