OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
There has been a general increase in this work during the
past year, and in April the weekly sessions were increased from
three to four, in order to assimilate a growing waiting-list.
460 home-visits have been made and 164 attendances at the weekly
class are recorded.
Two Sales of patients' work were held in early December. The
first, held at the Town Hall, realised £7. 10s. The second, disposed
of nearly all the remaining work and brought in nearly £12,
For this we are indebted to the Occupational Therapist at Mayday
Hospital, who kindly provided space during their Annual Exhibition.
Patients have been greatly encouraged by this success.
It is felt that the results show that a Sale held near the
Chest Clinic would be better attended by staff, patients, and
their relatives. We therefore hope to hold another Sale at the
Chest Clinic, at the end of November next.
