All sewers in the Borough have received two maintenance
treatments during the year. 2,468 manholes were examined for
the presence of rats and poison bait laid in 849 instances.
FOOD SUPPLY.
The supervision and inspection of the food supplies is carried
out by the Sanitary Inspectors who are all qualified in food
inspection.
The following table shows the premises in the Borough at
which food is known to be sold, manufactured or stored:—
