SUPPLY OF MATERNITY OUTFITS.
Cases dealt with by the Midwifery Service were supplied with
Maternity Outfits and a few sets were issued to cases under the
care of independent midwives, giving a total of 1,450 issued during
the year.
HOME NURSING.
This service was carried out by the Croydon Nursing Service
(Queen's Nurses) as agents of the Corporation.
It was a year of considerable difficulty for them owing to a
prolonged illness of the Superintendent, who was eventually
forced to retire through ill-health.
