-5 Samples from a local Accredited Producer's farm proved to be tuberculous
After systematic sampling of the herd two cows were found to be giving
tuberculous milk and were slaughtered under the Tuberculosis order.

Under the Regulations Pasteurised Milk must not contain more than
100,000 bacteria per millilitre.
PROVISION AS TO MILK SUPPLY.
During the year 259 samples of ordinary milk were procured and submitted
to -examination far tuberculosis in accordance with the Milk and Dairies
(Consolidation Act, 1915.
Those samples were taken as follows
Samples taken at cowsheds in the Borough 14
Samples in course of delivery from
country cowsheds to local
dairymen and purveyors of
milk in the Borough 20
Samples taken at dairymen's premises
in the Borough 146
Samples taken in course of delivery
by local dairymen or milk
sellers on their rounds in different
