The conditions for which these were admitted can be ascertained
by reference to the Booked columns of tho Numerical summary
of Cases . 6 ante-nat 1 clinics per week are now held at Lodge Road for
cases booked for Hospital delivery and 2 clinics per week for home delivery. A postnatal
clinic for cases- delivered at home has also been instituted.
During 1939 ,the. .Obstetric, Service dealt with 2272 out of the total
births allocated to the Borough.
