The highest incidence of notifiable infectious diseases was in
houses of 4-5 rooms. The 1931 Census showed that houses of 1-3
rooms formed 4.7% of the total number of houses; those of 4-5
rooms 51.4% and those with over 5 rooms 43.9.%
