Contracted Pelvis (including relative disproportion between the
pelvis and foetal head).
30 cases of contracted pelvis or disproportion were treated
during the year. There was 1 maternal death. In 26 "Booked"
cases there were 7 infant deaths (28 per cent.), and in 4 "Emergency"cases
there were 2 infant deaths (50 per cent.). Three cases
were treated by induction of premature labour, 2 medical induction
and 1 surgical.
