Infant Mortality.
The Infantile Mortality rate was 45 per 1,000 births. This is
1 per 1,000 births less than in 1934, and is the lowest rate yet
recorded in the Borough.
For the past 5 years the numbers of infant deaths have been:
1931, 196; 1932, 161; 1933, 148; 1934, 145; 1935, 147; 103 deaths
of infants occurred in institutions, including Registered Nursing
Homes.
