There was one maternal death in a Mayday Hospital "Emergency"
case, a mortality of 8.3 per cent.

There was one maternal death in a Mayday Hospital "Booked"
case, a mortality of 7.1 per cent.
Contracted Pelvis (including relative disproportion between the
pelvis and foetal head).
31 cases of Contracted Pelvis or Disproportion were treated
during the year. There were no maternal deaths. In 26 "Booked"
cases there was one infant death (3.9 per cent.), and in 5 "Emergency"
cases there were 4 infant deaths (80 per cent).
