Cases admitted to the Borough Hospital from Penge are included in
arriving at the figures in Cols. 6 to 8.

There was a further decrease in the number of cases notified
and admitted to Hospital in 1932 as compared with 1931. The type
was mild and the case mortality was the lowest on record. The
attack rate (Col. 3) for England and Wales was 212. Croydon
shows a lower figure.
