RENT RESTRICTION ACTS.
A number of applications were received for certificates as to
the sanitary condition of the houses concerned. In 41 instances
where the Acts applied certificates were granted. In four instances
the applications were withdrawn and in five instances certificates
were given to owners stating that the work had been carried out.
