Note. In addition to the medical examinations shown in this table the Medical Officer also visited and examined the tuberculous
patients at the Borough Hospital twice weekly throughout the year.
[The average number of examinations made per day (including visits) was 29 3, and the average number of new cases seen
per day was 2.6.
