TUBERCULOSIS IN MILK.
No samples of milk were taken on account of the impossibility of
getting examinations made.
DISINFECTION.
During the year 1,572 rooms, 24 hospital wards and contents
thereof, 31 school class rooms, 1 vehicle, 1 hut and 1 chapel, and
16889 articles were disinfected.
The articles disinfected were as follows, viz. 512 beds, 2,519
blankets, 33 blouses, 1,234 bolsters, 528 books (including 378 Library
books), 8 boots. 10 capes, 219 caps, 15 carpets, 265 coats, 9 corsets,
65 curtains, 353 cushions, 4 cloaks, 9 costumes, 695 counterpanes,
17 dresses, 109 dressing gowns, 203 handkerchiefs, 10 hearth rugs,
777 mattresses, 117 neckerchiefs, 24 palliasses, 62 petticoats, 1,848
pillows, 83 rugs, 111 shawls, 853 sheets, 724 shirts, 24 skirts, 1,495
stockings (socks),'376 towels, 528 trousers, 149 vests, 74 waistcoats,
830 jackets, 11 mats, 191 underclothing, and 1,799 other articles.
Total 16,889.
