Public Health Department,
Town Hall,
Croydon.
November, 1916.
Mr. Mayor and Gentlemen,
I beg to submit the Annual Report for 1915 of the work of the
Public Health Department.
The Report has been very much cut down as compared with
those of previous years principally owing to the lack of regular staff.
All the essential parts, however, are included. The Report, covering
as it docs the conditions during the earlier part oj the war period,
shows, I think, the existence of satisfactory conditions in the Borough.
The general Public Health is maintained on a high level, and the work
of the department has been also sustained vety well in spite of numerous
departures of members of the staff on military service.
I am,
Yours faithfully,
R. VEITCH CLARK,,
Medical Officer of Health
and School Medical Officer.
