PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY DEFECTIVE CHILDREN
SENT TO INSTITUTIONS.
At the end of the year the following Croydon children were
under treatment in residential institutions outside the Borough:—
Blind 9
Deaf 15
Mentally defective 5
Epileptic 1
EXAMINATION OF BURSARS AND STUDENT TEACHERS.
Twenty-four young persons who desired to become Bursars and
Student-Teachers were medically examined during the year.
SPECIAL EXAMINATION OF CHILDREN AT THE
SCHOOL TREATMENT CENTRE.
Number of Children who have attended for the following diseases
at the request of the Education Committee's officers or of teachers or
parents :—
