AMBULANCE.
During the year 904 journeys were made in removing patients
to the Borough Hospital, including 59 journeys to Penge and
Anerley. The ambulance also made sundry other journeys in connection
with the removal of patients to their homes, in addition to
the collection of parcels from the Town Hall and other Offices.
The sum of £54 6s. od. was received from the Penge Urban
District Council and the Croydon Guardians for ambulance
services rendered during the year.
MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS.
During 1910 an additional steam washing machine was erected
in the Laundry.
External painting was carried out in A, B, C & E Blocks, and
internal and external painting in D Block.
All Wards cleaned down.
