FACTORY AND WORKSHOP ACT, 1901.
The title of this Act is "An Act to consolidate with
amendments the Factory and Workshop Act."
It will be seen from the subjoined list that there are
now 240 Factories and Workshops on the Register. All
these are periodically visited, and due attention has been
paid to maintaining them in such a condition as to
comply with the requirements of the Act. Daring the
year 522 visits were paid, and in 23 instances nuisances
or irregularities were found.
