The deaths of children between the ages of one and
five years, numbering 70, gives a percentage of 10.7 of
total deaths, as against 12.9 in 1906, 7.7 in 1905, 8.0 in
1904, 6.7 in 1903, and 9.2 in 1902.

The deaths occurring in persons over 65 years of age, numbering 149, give a percentage of 22.9 of total deaths, as against 21.5 in 1906, 27.4 in 1905, 22.8 in 1904, 28 3 in 1903, and 27.5 in 1902.
