Scarlet Fever 5 cases.
Diphtheria 1 case.
Other illnesses necessitating treatment in
Hospital 6 cases.
Total 12 cases.
AMBULANCE.—During the year 536 journeys were made in
removing patients to the Borough Hospital, and one journey to the
Joint Smallpox Hospital at Cheam. The ambulance also made
sundry other journeys in connection with the removal of patients
to their homes, in addition to the collection of parcels from the
Town Hall.
The sum of £44 2s. was received from the Penge Urban
District Council, the Croydon Guardians, and the Epsom Rural
District Council, and others, for ambulance services rendered
during the year,
