Smoke Abatement.
Up to the present five installations have converted
to oil burning fuel. One factory has had trouble with
their installation with the consequent periodical emission
of black smoke, but it is hoped that when repairs are
effected this trouble will cease.
Eradication of the Bed Bug.
Particulars of the action taken in 1947, for the
eradication of the Bed Bug are as follows:—
