MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE FACILITIES.
Ante-Natal Clinics.
One session per week is held at the Council's
Ante-Natal Clinic at the Town Hall. 288 women made
1106 attendances. An increase of 83 patients and 521
attendances.
X-rays.
Five Expectant Mothers were referred to the County
Hospital for X-ray examination.
Obstetric Consultant.
Abnormalities in connection with Maternity Cases
are recommended for examination when necessary, to the
Council's Obstetric Consultant at Guy's Hospital.

The Council's Home Help Scheme provides the
services of women to undertake Domestic duties for
confinements cases, and also in cases of sickness where
there are children under five years of age.
