Motorists can also cut down the risk of serious or fatal
accidents by the use of safety belts. During the past year these
have become much more used than before but still only a fraction

given to the value of safety belts, the ultimate aim being to make
them as common among motorists as crash helmets among motor
cycle and moped riders.
