PIGGERIES.
There are eleven piggeries in the district. This indicates a
decrease on the year, and is part of a trend against pig keeping on
a small scale, noticeable since shortly after the war. Approximately
1,553 pigs are kept, one large piggery accounting for 1,000 animals.
34 visits were paid to these piggeries.
