Buckfield, Baugh Estate, Church Road, Footscray.
Six families have been using his land which is owned by the
Council.
Corke's Meadow, St. Paul's Cray.
The site is used by approximately 112 families, mostly of the
gipsy type. The ground is being acquired by the London County
Council for other purposes. This Council has been in consultation
with the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, the Kent
County Council and the London County Council, with a view to
the site being cleared. The possibility of the Council establishing
and controlling another site for the caravans in the St. Paul's Cray
area to accommodate those displaced, is being actively considered.
