Illegitimate Births.
The illegitimate birth rate (per 1,000 live and still births)
for 1952, is 34.2.
Stillbirths.
The total number of stillbirths allocated to the Urban District
during the year was 33, which gives a stillbirth rate of 25.1 per
1,000 live and still births, and a rate of 0.39 per 1,000 total
population.
DEATHS.
The Death Rate for the year 1952, is 8.7 per 1,000 total
population. Of the 739 deaths occurring, 376 were males and
363 females.

There were 2 maternal deaths in the Urban District during
1952, giving a rate of 1.52 per 1,000 total births.
