WATER SUPPLY.
The District is supplied with water from the mains of the
Metropolitan Water Board.
The supply of water has been both satisfactory in quantity
and quality, and there appears to be no risk of plumbosolvency.
Approximately 99.8 of the population are supplied with
water by the public mains.
During the year 47 samples of main water were submitted
for examination by the Public Health Department, and in all
cases satisfactory results were obtained.
In addition 46 samples taken from wells, etc., all proved
to be satisfactory.
