HEALTH VISITOR.
One full-time Health Visitor is employed by the Council and
works under the supervision of the Medical Officer of Health.

SCHOOLS.
There are fifteen elementary and two secondary schools
within the District.
Medical Inspection.— The medical inspection of school
children is under the control of the Kent County Council.
Sanitary Accommodation.— Periodical inspection is made of
the sanitary accommodation at the schools.
School Closure.— The following school was closed during
the year owing to a case of Scarlet Fever being in the school:
St. Paul's Cray Infants' School, from 18th to 21st January.
In addition, the following Certificates covering low attendances
at school owing to the incidence of Infectious Disease
were issued:—
Chislehurst Annunciation Infants' Department : Whooping
Cough, four weeks ending 18th March, 1938.
Ditto: Whooping Cough and Measles, one week ending
25th March, 1938.
Ditto: Measles and Chicken-pox, two weeks ending 8th
July, 1938.
Sidcup Black fen Council School, Infants' Department:
Measles, one week ending 4th March, 1938.
Sidcup Halfway Street Council School: Measles and Colds,
one week ending 15th April, 1938.
