FACTORIES AND WORKSHOP ACT.
It will be seen from the subjoined list that there are now
12 factories and 49 workshops on the Register.
All these are periodically visited and inspected, and due
attention has been paid to maintaining them in such a condition
as to comply with the requirements of the Act.

During the year 98 visits ot inspection were paid, and in 12 instances nuisances or irregularities were found ; these were all remedied.
