The Population of the Chislehurst Urban District is estimated
to have been 9,110 at the middle of 1914. This is an increase of
139 on the estimated population for 1913, and 444 on the population
of the district at the Census of 1911.

in the district, all of them belonging to it, and four births were
transferred to the district from outside, making the nett births 176

the whole of England and Wales (13.7), and for the 145 Smaller
Towns of England and Wales (13.1). There were 19 deaths to be
transferred to the district of residents who had died outside it
(seven in the Union Infirmary, Bromley, seven in local Hospitals
near, and the remainder chiefly in London Hospitals), and 1 death
to be transferred away from the district, making the nett number
of deaths 81, 35 males and 46 females, and the nett Death-rate 8.8,
compared with a rate of 7.5 in 1913 and 1912 and 8.8 in 1911.
