being given.

Housing, Town Planning, &c. Act, 1909.
A system for carrying out the necessary inspection according
to the Housing (Inspection of District) Regulations, 1910, has been
approved by this Council; the Sanitary Inspector being the officer
designated to make the inspections. Where difficulties arise I also
visit and inspect.
Details are taken on the spot in a note-book with special
headings, and these are afterwards transferred to duplicated foolscap
sheets. This record with any resulting correspondence, copies
of notices, &c., in respect of each house is placed in a paper folder,
numbered, filed, and card indexed; so that the particulars respecting
any house which has been inspected under the Regulations can
be easily referred to.
