Issue of Certificates under Rent Restrictions Acts 1
A total of six hundred and eighty-two notices,
of which six hundred and forty-eight had been served under the
Public Health (London) Act, 1936, were complied with during the year.
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS. Two appeals against works required by notices
served under section 9 of the Housing Act, 1936, were disallowed,
costs being awarded to the Council. An Order was also secured in
respect of work not being carried out as required by a nuisance notice
under the Public Health (London) Act, 1936. In this instance also
costs were granted to the Council.
