Despite the efforts of the Home Safety Committee to reduce the home accident
figures, it is obvious that more people must be made to realise that it is only by their own
efforts of establishing, maintaining and renewing their standards of safety within their own
homes that any substantial in-road can be made into the high accidents which occur yearly.
