The District, which now includes 13 parishes, is divided into
two parts for the purposes of inspection, viz.:—

I have made special visits of inspection in connection with the
following matters:—Slaughter-house at Farnborough, Mottingham
sewers, insanitary and dilapidated dwellings at Chelsfield, Knockholt,
Downe, Farnborough, and Green-Street-Green, proposed
slaughter-houses at Farnborough and Mottingham, unsound meat
at Green-Street-Green, sanitary conveniences at Keston School,
Knockholt School, drainage of Keston, flooded cellar at Farnborough,
premises used for gutscraper's business at Orpington, London
refuse heaps. These inspections were in addition to ordinary
routine visits in connection with infectious disease, Dairies, Cowsheds
and Milkshops Order, Factory and AVorkshop Act, and
Housing, Town Planning, etc., Act.
The particulars as to the inspections made and work done by the
Sanitary Inspectors as required by the Sanitary Officers (Outside
London) Order, 1910, are appended in Mr. Nightingale's and Mr.
Dunlop's Reports.
