In addition to the above, 46 samples of foodstuffs,
including Chinese egg, egg albumen, and cakes containing
synthetic cream were taken for pathological examination
in connection with the paratyphoid outbreak mentioned
elsewhere in the Report.
Legal Proceedings.
Legal proceedings were instituted during the year in
respect of Bread containing foreign matter and the vendors
were fined £5 plus £3 3s. Od.
