During the year 116 new cases were notified.

Of the 21 deaths shown in the table the number of non-notified Tuberculosis deaths was 4.

The decrease in the number of cases on the Register
was mainly due to a revision of the tuberculosis register
which entailed the removal of the names of cases long
quiescent or lost sight of by the Chest Clinic.
Rehousing.
4 cases were referred to me by the Chest Physician for
rehousing and during the year one case was rehoused by the
Housing Committee.
