INFANTILE MORTALITY, 1961

The number of deaths of infants under the age of 12 months, for which full records exist, was 19, as compared with 10 in 1960.

The Registrar-General returns 9 infant deaths and the infant mortality rate for the year was 8.62 per 1,000 live

births.
