Obstetric Consultant's Service.
The consultants clinics were held at the Maternity Hospital.
Eighteen sessions were held; 137 ante-natal cases and 493 post-natal
cases were examined. The total number of attendances at the
Clinics was 743 compared with 428 in 1946.
Mr. D. M. Lindsay, F.R.C.O.G., was asked to see 42 Beckenham
cases during the year. The following summary indicates the reasons
for the consultations:—
(a) Ante-Natal Conditions.

the conditions necessitating the operation were:—
