Treatment of Minor Ailments.
Total Number of Defects treated or under treatment during
the year under the Authority's Scheme was 2,009.
Treatment of Defective Vision and Squint.
Errors of Refraction dealt with under the Authority's Scheme
were 417.
The number of children for whom spectacles were prescribed
was 115, and for whom they were obtained was 110.
Treatment of Defects of Nose and Throat.
24 children received operative treatment under the Authority's
Scheme, and 82 received other forms of treatment making a total
of 106.
25 cases recommended for operative treatment cancelled on
evacuation.
