The usual practice of notifying the Metropolitan Water Board,
when waste of water was detected, was continued.
SMOKE ABATEMENT.
There are seven factory chimneys within the district, and one
on the boundary. Fourteen observations were kept, and one nuisance
was found at time of visit.
