There is not much variation in the numbers of children attending
for treatment, 166 this year, 187 in 1936 and 178 in 1935, but there
is a difference in the amount of treatment required :—

The fact that the more severe dental troubles are less prevalent
in the toddler class, is due, I think, to the advice given by the Health
Visitors at the centres and during the home visits, on the importance
of mouth cleanliness and the attention to diet.
