Infant Deaths.—Of the 29 Infant deaths registered in Beckenham
during the year only three were on the Centre Roll, three were
"in-ward transfer " deaths, and 13 belonged to better class homes
,
which are not visited by the Health Visitor. Ten deaths occurred
within one week of birth.
Free Milk.—During the financial year £123 was expended in
supplying cow's milk or dried milk foods to mothers and babies
attending the Infant Welfare Centre.
Sale of Dried Milk Foods.—£200 worth of Dried Milks were sold
during the year to mothers and babies on the Centre Roll.
