PUBLIC HEALTH (MILK AND CREAM) REGULATIONS,
1912.
These Regulations are designed to prevent or control the addition
of preservatives and other foreign substances to Milk and Cream,
which additions have from time to time been demonstrated to be
dangerous and injurious to health.
During the year one sample of cream was taken for analysis,
which was satisfactory.
UNSOUND FOOD.
During the year 18 pounds of meat and 112 pounds of fish were
condemned as unfit for consumption and were destroyed.
SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACTS.
Sixty-nine samples were purchased during the year under these
Acts and submitted to analysis. The results are as follows:—
