Prior to the commencement of treatment, appointments are
given by means of Appointment Cards, a copy of which follows: —

(Temporary).

Each child receives three opportunities to keep the Appointments
offered, and in the event of their failing to keep any of
these, they come under the heading of Refusals, unless illness or
some reasonable explanation is the cause. Happily\ very few
children have failed to come at the stated times and the work done
for the young people, has been, generally speaking, greatly appreciated,
as can be understood from the fact that only 17 children have
failed to keep re-appointments when given during the 9 months,
March to December, 1920.
