(14) CO-OPERATION,
Co-operation and assistance from many
quarters has been afforded us throughout the year,
this being especially evident in the arrangements
for the evacuation of a very large number of
children which took place in June, and I desire to
place on record my thanks to the members of the
Council, the staff of my department, the Head Teachers
and School Attendance Officers, the staff of other
departments, also to private medical practitioners,
voluntary bodies and pa rents for the continuation
of their co-operation which has helped us in no
small measure in carrying out our work in connection
with the various services provided by the Authority.
