Open-air Schools are necessary I feel that 25 hours a week for about
44 weeks in the year is not a sound financial proposition.

The following table shows the position with regard to recommendation and admission to Faircross School during the year.

(11) PHYSICAL TRAINING.
The Local Education Authority have no officer with special.
duties for organising physical training in your schools.
It has been my good fortune to take a spectator's interest
in some of the activities which are carried out amongst our school
children, and a few of the opinions I now hold are worth recording
for future reference.
Where team games such as football are played, the size and shape
of the ground is of very great importance, and varying sizes are
required for children of different ages who may be taking part.
