WATER
The water supply still continues to be satisfactory both in quality
and quantity. During the year 14 bacteriological and 11 chemical samples
were taken from the Company's mains in the borough; all were satisfactory.
The water does not have any plumbo-solvent properties and no action
was called for in respect of any form of contamination. There is a piped
supply inside all houses.
During the year the total length of new mains laid was 2,812 yards
and 768 new supplies were connected.
