INCIDENCE OF CONGENITAL ABNORMALITIES
The notification and classification of congenital abnormalities apparent
in children at birth continued during the year, the following defects being
noted in 46 babies:-
Central Nervous System:

Alimentary system:
Cleft lip 3
Cleft palate 1
Rectal and anal atresia 1
Heart and great vessels:

Hypospadias, epispadias 4
Other defects of male genitalia 2
Limbs:
Defects of lower limb 4
Reduction deformities 2
Polydactyly 4
Syndactyly 2
Talipes 7
