The year 1966 was, I feel, a year of progress, of sorting out priorities
within priorities, and of looking ahead. This is not to say that practical
progress has not been made, and indeed progress will be evident to anyone
dipping into the main body of this report.
I must thank all the staff, medical and lay, for their co-operation during
the year, and the Health Committee with its Chairman and Members for the support
they have given me during the year.
