FAIRCROSS SCHOOL
At the end of 1964 there was a total of 143 children attending
Faircross School. This school accepts three categories of handipupil
- Delicate, Physically Handicapped and Educationally SubNormal
- but the school is only divided into two Sections as the
Delicate and Physically Handicapped children are educated
together. Children are admitted from Dagenham, East Ham, Ilford
South Essex and Romford, as well as from Barking. This schoo is
scheduled for replacement and in fact the plans for this are airedy
under way.
